I know I don't hear too well, and wear a small hearing aid. It's annoying when people think you're being rude because you don't catch what they say.

Michele sent me to say that you have an interesting site. I had never really given much thought to the types of deafness that are possible. I admire you learning to sign. It must be quite a challenge. Good luck with it.
I spent a summer learning sign language but unfortunately I've forgotten most of it.
